Mendut temple in Indonesia Tourism. Located in the Yogyakarta city that is 3 kilometers away to the east direction from the temple of Borobudur. It is a Buddhist temple built in the year of 824 by the king of the dynasty Indera kinship.
In the temple area, there are three big statues: Cakyamuni, Awalokiteswara and Maitreya.Waisak ceremony held every May in this temple. The same as Borobudur temple, this temple steeped cube and that has a Stony roof top of it or interests either domestic or foreign tourists.
